Baby Bear's hair was getting out-of-control long (Seriously- see that super-long piece in the pic?), so we finally took him to my friend Wendy who is an awesome stylist with her own basement salon. It started out fine. Bear just looked around and was interested in everything. He also spent a lot of time trying to eat her scissors.

Then it kind of went downhill- I think it was about the time the little hair clippings got in his face.

Soon his face was covered in tears, hair clippings and snot. Not pretty.

He did survive (and also got "baby's first lollipop) and now he has an adorable "big boy" hair cut!

Funny thing about his new hair cut- in the two days after we cut it, no less than 6 old grandpa-looking guys came up to him to tickle his chin and talk to him and say how cute he is. That's never happened to us in our history of adorable babies- we get women and grandma's, but rarely older men. My theory is that he looks more like a classic, chubby 50's baby now and maybe it reminds them of their own kids? What's your theory?
