Strawberry Jam Jam

Strawberry season is earlier in TX than in UT.  There was a crazy sale on strawberries a couple weeks ago, so that can only mean one thing- strawberry freezer jam!  In the past, the jam-making has been a solitary Mom activity, but this time we decided to get the whole family in on the action.  We turned on some Pandora (courtesy of the Roku- thanks Bek!) and had a jam jam- get it.  Also, we helped increase the kids' appreciation of 90's alternative music.

Everyones favorite part was slicing the berries.  These girls are FAST - we could hardly keep up with their awesomeness.

Bear is really, really good at mincing. 

Then it was time to blend the berries into yummy puree.  I'm kind of questioning the wisdom of kids + blender as I look at this picture....
