Pumpkin Carving

We went with Cyndi and kids to the pumpkin patch to pick our pumpkins and take pictures. Aside from being really cold, it was an adventure to wrangle all 6 kids, two strollers and our pumpkin wagon. With much ado, the perfect pumpkins were picked!
Isn't he the cutest bear you've ever seen? Funny that now he's the only one of the kids I can count on to look at the camera and smile :)
We met Grandma and Grandpa later in the week to carve/paint our pumpkins. Grandpa was so funny- he kept saying "Ahhhh! Don't cut me" as he was carving the tops of the pumpkins off. The kids thought it was sooo funny!
EJ did NOT like scooping the guts out of her pumpkin. She takes after her mom, I guess!
Here's the finished product(s). From left to right, Mommy's, Birdy's, Daddy's and EJ's. Bear had one that EJ painted for him, but it must have been left at Cyndi's. Oh well- it was fun anyway!

Looks like fun! Did you roast seeds as well? That's a tasty treat to offset all the sugar. Love Bear's outfit/costume.
