On our way home, we had one final food-related pilgrimage to make- the Jelly Belly factory in Fairfield, CA. This was a super-fun place to visit and a good finale to our fun trip to CA.
How could you not love a brightly-colored place that give out free Jelly Belly's?
We took the factory tour, but Birdy would not keep her approved hat and/or hairnet on, so she had to leave with DMP. It was really interesting. EJ's favorite part was watching a robot move some boxes around. The videos were interesting. My favorite part? 10 lbs. of "Belly Flops". We'll be eating Jelly Belly's forever!
The rest of the day consisted of driving through The Great Armpit and arriving home very late (midnight) to one very excited dog, and one very freaked-out cat. It is good to be home!
